Three Sisters - 27th November 2005

Race Report

Heat 1- Starting 22nd for the first heat of the day and Jack got a decent start gaining a few places after the first lap. He quickly started to make places up climbing up through the field and had managed to get up to 10th by the fifth lap and then managed to catch the group ahead just managing to edge his way past number 90 Matthew Tipping with a lap to spare finishing a solid 9th.

Heat 2- Starting on pole for the second heat of the day and the rain had really started to lash it down now. Jack got a decent start but for the first 5 laps he was chased hard by the Scottish driver Ryan Todd until Todd suffered a mechanical problem dropping back to 4th. In the end Jack secured the win a full second in front of 2nd place.

Final- After some solid heats Jack qualified 3rd for the final and got a decent start as he managed to leap frog Danny Cammish for 2nd and set out in chase of the leader Luke Varley. But at the end of the first lap Jack managed to pull alongside Luke at the end of the straight and take the lead of the race from then on Jack drove a solid race but being pushed very hard by number 10 Liam Fenwick for most of the race. Jack managed to hang on to take the win from Liam Fenwick making it a Gillard one two at the finish line.
