DOB 28.02.1991 / Bradford (United Kingdom)

Jack Hawksworth is a championship winning race car driver, currently competing primarily for Lexus Racing and Vasser Sullivan in the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship.

Jack started racing in 2004 becoming a multi-time karting champion before graduating to car racing at the end of 2010 where he immediately made an impression claiming pole position on his debut in the Formula Renault Winter Series and finishing 3rd overall in the championship beating the likes of future Formula 1 drivers Carlos Sainz Jnr and Danil Kvyat.

Pole positions and wins followed in 2011 before Jack made the switch to the U.S.A to compete in the Star Mazda (Indy Pro) series in 2012. Jack claimed the title in his first year with a record 8 victories before adding a further 3 victories to his resume in the 2013 Indy Lights Series. Winning almost 45% of the races he competed in over the two year period.

On the back of this success the opportunity for Jack to compete for Bryan Herta Autosport in the Verizon Indycar Series and the Indy 500 presented itself. Jack made an instant impression, qualifying in the top five in three of his first five races, including a front row start at the Indy G.P, before securing his first podium finish at Houston in only his eighth race. Alongside his Indycar commitments Jack would also make his first IMSA start in the LMPC class for RSR Racing, taking a thrilling victory with a late race pass on his debut.

At the end of 2016 Jack signed to race full time for Lexus as they entered the 2017 IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship with the all new Lexus RCF GT3 car. Since then Jack has collected multiple victories, including the 2020 GTD Sprint Championship alongside Aaron Tellitz and secured victory at the prestigious 2022 Petit Le Mans race alongside Ben Barnicoat and Kyle Kirkwood.

2023 proved to be the best yet as Jack and the team went on to secure the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar GTD PRO Championship title, collecting 2 wins and 9 podium finishes on route to securing Lexus their first IMSA GT Championship.

In 2024 Jack and the team continued to rack up victories and podiums, the highlight being a historic win at the famed Sebring 12 hours with a fantastic late race pass to seal the victory. Jack also made his 24hr of Le Mans debut, battling for the lead for much of the race before a technical issue forced him and the Lexus team out of contention.

2025 will see Jack, team up alongside Parker Thompson in the number 12 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RCF GT3 car for a full season assault on the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship in search of another IMSA title!
